Escape Room is a 2019 American psychological horror film[4] directed by Adam Robitel and written by Bragi F. Schut and Maria Melnik. The film stars Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Tyler Labine, Nik Dodani, Jay Ellis, and Yorick van Wageningen, and follows a group of people who are sent to navigate a series of deadly escape rooms.
Six people from varied backgrounds are presented with a puzzle cube: Zoey, a physics student; Jason, a wealthy daytrader; Ben, a stockboy; Mike, a truck driver; Amanda, an Iraq War veteran; and Danny, an escape room enthusiast. When they solve the puzzle, they are invited to take part in an escape room with a $10,000 prize. The participants arrive at an office block with no greeting, and when Ben tries to leave, the door handle falls off, revealing that the challenge has begun. They escape the first two rooms, a giant heating oven and a winter cabin. After finding the key, however, the rooms become fatal. Danny falls through the ice in an icy room and drowns; Amanda plummets to her death in an upside-down billiards bar where parts of the floor periodically fall into a deep shaft below; Jason shocks Mike to death to solve a puzzle in a hospital room filling up with poisonous gas; and in a room with optical illusions and strobe lights, Ben kills Jason over an antidote required to escape.
Additionally, Cornelius Geaney Jr. appears as Zoey's professor while Jessica Sutton portrays her roommate, Allison. Russell Crous portrays Charlie, Jason's assistant; Bart Fouche portrays Gary, Ben's boss; Kenneth Fok portrays Detective Li; and Jamie-Lee Money portrays Rosa, a fake flight attendant who works for Minos.
In Poland, United International Pictures announced that the film's release in the country would be delayed out of respect for the five teenagers who had died in the Koszalin escape room fire, which actually occurred on the day of the film's U.S. release.[14]
Six people from varied backgrounds are sent puzzle cubes: Zoey, a physics student; Jason, a wealthy day trader; Ben, a stock boy; Mike, a truck driver; Amanda, an Iraq War veteran; and Danny, an escape room enthusiast. When they solve the puzzle, they are invited to take part in an escape room with a $10,000 winning prize. The participants arrive at an office block and gather in a waiting room waiting, but, after a few minutes, no one comes to greet them.
When Ben tries to leave, the door handle falls off, revealing that the challenge has begun. The room turns out to be a giant oven that begins to heat up the room. The players discover an escape passage and climb out before the room is filled with fire. Next, they find themselves in a winter cabin. When trying to escape, Ben's tragic past is revealed, assisting them in solving the puzzle. They escape the cabin and step out into an icy room where the temperature is dropping. They eventually find the key, but Danny falls through the ice and drowns, confirming that they are dealing with potentially fatal rooms rather than just an elaborate game. Some players notice reminders of traumatic events in their past: A song Ben heard before almost dying in a car crash and a red coat Jason wore when he escaped a shipwreck. The remaining five players enter an upside-down billiards bar, where parts of the floor periodically fall into a deep elevator shaft below. In helping the others escape, Amanda plummets to her death.
The next room is a hospital ward with six beds, each representing a player. It is revealed that all six players were each sole survivors of various disasters: Mike escaped a mine cave-in, Zoey survived a plane crash, Danny survived when his family died of carbon monoxide poisoning, Amanda survived an IED blast, Jason survived a shipwreck in frigid weather, and Ben survived a car accident that killed all his friends. Zoey realizes that the purpose of the game is to determine which player is the luckiest of all. Jason discovers that the room is about to be filled with poisonous gas. Zoey refuses to continue playing and instead destroys the room's surveillance cameras. A clip about a heart surgeon called \"Dr. Wootan Yu\" suggests that someone needs to record a certain heart rate to escape. Mike has the highest heart rate, but not high enough to work. Jason suggests using the defibrillator on Mike. Mike is unwilling at first, but Jason manipulates him to participate. Jason accidentally electrocutes Mike in the process. He then realizes that they need a slower heart rate and solves the puzzle as the gas is released. Jason and Ben escape, but Zoey refuses to follow, as she is bent on breaking the hidden cameras, and disappears into the gas.
As Ben recovers, Zoey returns to the building with a detective. The police do not believe Zoey, as all evidence of the game has disappeared. They do not believe Ben either, as he was found to have drugs in his system. While looking at the graffiti on the wall, Zoey notices the words \"No Way Out\", an anagram for \"Wootan Yu\", suggesting the game is not over. Six months later, Ben Miller is the new regional sales representative for Logan Square. Zoey meets up with him and shows newspaper articles that passed off the other players' deaths as everyday accidents: Mike Nolan died of a heart attack in a bathroom in Union Station, Jason Walker was thrown from his bike on the I-64 (DMT found in his system), Danny Khan drowned in Lake Michigan, Amanda Harper, rock-climbing alone, fell and died. When Ben suggests Zoey should move on, she refuses. She reveals clues to Ben that point to an unlisted building in Manhattan. Ben agrees to go with her. However, the Puzzle Maker is already preparing to make their flight a new deadly game of survival.
Zoey (Taylor Russell) is in a college lecture hall. Her professor asks a question that she knows the answer to, but she is too shy to speak up. After class, her professor tells her that she needs to learn to speak up and challenges her to do something that scares her over Thanksgiving break. She goes back to her dorm room and refuses to join the dorm party. As her roommate leaves for Thanksgiving break the next morning, she finds a package for Zoey outside their room. Inside is a note from her professor and a black puzzle box.
Zoey, Jason, and Ben each manage to open their puzzle boxes. Zoey figures it out on her own, Jason uses a Youtube tutorial, and Ben stumbles across the solution by accident after trying to smash the box with a hammer. Inside is a card inviting them to Minos Escape Room where the first person to escape the room will earn $10,000.
Ben gets tired of waiting for the game to start and wants to go outside and smoke. When he tries to open the door, the handle breaks off in his hand, and Danny realizes that the game has started. Where the handle broke off is now an oven dial, and the group begins searching for clues. Amanda sees that all the magazines in the room were sent to a Dr. Wootan Yu. Mike flips through the books on the shelf and finds a screwdriver in a copy of Fahrenheit 451. Zoey turns the oven dial to 451 degrees and heating panels around the room turn on and begin heating the room.
Amanda gets anxious and asks the person sitting behind a frosted glass window for a clue. Zoey realizes that the voice they keep hearing from behind the window is a recording. Jason picks up a snow globe with a sailboat inside off a shelf and looks disturbed before putting it back down. Ben takes a fire extinguisher off the wall which turns on more heating panels. The fire extinguisher is fake, but Zoey pulls the pin out and finds a key to open the frosted glass window. Inside is a mannequin holding a phone. The phone rings and Jason answers. The voice tells them to follow the rules. When Jason hangs up the phone, more heating panels turn on. As the room gets hotter, Amanda panics. Zoey gets her a glass of water from the water cooler to calm her down. Zoey notices a sign on the wall that says to use the coasters. She presses down on one of the coasters on the coffee table, and a painting on the wall moves to reveal an air duct.
Zoey figures out that all six of the coasters need to be pressed down to keep the painting from blocking the air duct. Zoey, Danny, Ben, Amanda, and Mike press the coasters down while Jason crawls into the duct. He finds a grate that leads into another room but needs the screwdriver from Mike who joins him in the duct to open the grate. Zoey tells Amanda to go next while she, Danny, and Ben hold the coasters down. Zoey figures out that they can fill the water glasses to the top using the water cooler and they will be heavy enough to hold the coasters down. Amanda panics in the duct and flashes back to crawling out of a military Humvee in the desert after an IED blast. Ben and Danny tell Zoey to go help Amanda while they fill glasses.
The next room is a bar with a pool table, but everything in the room is upside down and bolted to the ceiling which is at least 20 feet up. Mike realizes that the eight ball is the only ball missing from the pool table. A phone attached to the pool table starts to ring, and the receiver drops down far enough for them to answer it. The voice tells them to watch their steps, and a piece of the floor falls away to reveal a 15 story drop under the room. Everyone grabs onto the walls. Amanda climbs up behind the bar where she finds a safe that requires a four-digit code.
Jason jumps down and helps Zoey onto the platform and climbs up just before that section of the floor falls. Ben and Mike climb onto the platform with them. Amanda puts the eight ball in her pocket and jumps from the bar to the pool table where she has to use her arms to pull herself along the edge until she can get her legs up. The ball falls out of her pocket onto the last remaining section of floor and starts to roll towards the edge. Amanda jumps down, grabs the ball, and throws it to Jason just before the floor falls. She grabs the hanging phone cord, and Ben tries to reach her with a pool cue, but the cord snaps and she falls to her death. Zoey is devastated, and Ben tries to comfort her while Jason pushes ahead into the next room. 59ce067264
Sex is the real energy behind motivation. Motivation is the key to achieving life goals. This definition is a sad limitation, because so far, sex with femboy sex doll in the context of psychology has been mainly described as object fetishism or robot fetishism.
